We live in a toxic environment, being exposed to an estimated 2.5 billion pounds of chemicals every year.
Although our body is designed to continuously eliminate toxins, if the incoming amount at a certain time exceeds our body’s elimination capacities, the toxins get stored in our tissues, and once there, our body cannot eliminate them by itself anymore.
With on-going exposure, they accumulate more and more in our tissues – in our thyroid gland, brain, liver, pancreas, skin, or basically anywhere else in our body – and cause a lot of damage in the affected organs. Generally, if we are not careful, the older we are, the higher our toxic load.
Stored toxins often don’t cause issues initially – at least, not until they reach a certain threshold. Because our body compensates, with all its power.
However, toxins resonate with a vibrational frequency that attracts pathogenic microbes, and the two together, once they reach a certain level, lead to the manifestation of all kinds of symptoms and diseases, ranging from allergies to chronic cough, skin eruptions, inflammation, headaches, fatigue, depression, hyperactivity, hair loss, infertility, IBS, cancer, diabetes, etc. etc.
All these however, are merely a name given to a collection of symptoms (and NOT a proper diagnosis!); they are just signs your body is giving you that something is just not right inside. The only way to optimum health throughout your life up until high age is identifying and eliminating root causes, the main one being a high toxic, pathogenic load.
For weight gain and cellulite too, by the way. As a mechanism of defence, to avoid even bigger harm and protect our brain and other vital organs against the damaging effects of toxins and acidic wastes, our body may start producing fat cells to pack the toxins inside, if it cannot otherwise deal with them at that moment. Therefore, the proper, healthy way to lose weight for the long term is to first detoxify and get healthy, and then to lose weight, not the other way around.
Optimally we would of course totally eliminate our exposure to toxins, but as much as we want to, it’s basically impossible, unless we move somewhere extremely remote, such as the Hunza region. Living in our modern world, we are all being literally gang-raped with toxins, from every single angle. Apart from all the radiation from flying around the world, Fukushima, cell towers, mobile phones, Wi-Fi, as well as from medical and dental diagnostics and treatments, there are various toxins in our waters, air and food; and pesticides and fertilisers are basically everywhere too.
So are heavy metals, like aluminium, mercury, lead and cadmium. Some of these are actually so poisonous that you have to wear a biohazard suit to handle them, yet they are in our vaccinations, skincare products, dental fillings and non-stick frying pans, being injected or otherwise absorbed into our tissues, leaking into our food, etc.
Then there are all the other toxic chemicals in our toothpaste, sunscreens, shampoos, perfumes, creams, nail polish, deodorants, air fresheners, laundry detergent, and other cosmetic, wellness and cleansing products.
And there are all the toxic ingredients in processed foods and animal foods… No wonder so many people have health issues!
You must avoid toxins as much as possible, and you will find a lot of information on this, and on proper detoxification, in 100% HEALTH, so here just some guidelines.
Don’t even think for a second that those 3 days “miracle detox” juices or supplements actually make a change in your toxic load. What are all those “health experts” talking about anyway? Intestinal detoxing? Liver detoxing? Heavy metal detoxing? Kidney and gallbladder flushes? No wonder people are confused!
The good news, however, is that our body has its own natural detoxifying processes that work quite well, we just have to know how to unblock and activate them. Then, our liver and kidneys actually do a great job of processing chemicals and eliminating them in sweat, urine and stool.
Our colon’s natural bacteria detoxify food wastes, and its mucus membranes, when intact, prevent pathogens and toxins from re-entering the body. Many chemicals are also excreted through the lungs if we breathe deeply and properly.
But most importantly, our body also has two in-built wonder-functions called autolysis and rejuvenescence, and these two together are a real, all-body, quick-fix detox and healing miracle. All you have to do to activate them is to stop eating for a few days, and only drink water. A water fast is the absolutely best and most powerful thing you can do to quick-start your healing journey.
To help your body eliminate toxins, you should sweat daily. Exercise to the point of sweat, go in the sauna, or take a hot bath.
Dry brush your skin, jump on the trampoline, drink plenty of pure, energised water, “ground” a lot, and make sure you have daily bowel movements.
The most powerful and my all-time favourite supplements to support and enhance detoxification are MSM (cells), Cat’s Claw (intestines and so much more) and Sarsaparilla (blood and intestines), and I recommend everybody to take these three.
Try to use either a powder or a liquid extract versus capsules or tablets, to stay away from fillers in ‘plastic’ pills as much as possible. The powder can just be thrown on the back of your tongue and swallowed with a lot of water, or you may mix it in food or liquids.
For specific purposes in those heavily infested, I sometimes also add Artichoke (liver and gallbladder), Boldo (liver and gallbladder), Nettle (kidneys and liver), Carqueja (liver and much more), Amor Seco (blood and general detox from environmental toxins and chemicals) and Burdock Root and Dandelion (blood, liver and kidneys). You can order all these online and take them according to the instructions on the bottle.
To pull out heavy metals from tissues, I sometimes add Modified Citrus Pectin or Alpha Lipoic Acid, slowly, but I don’t recommend other chelators, because pulling out heavy metals possibly too quickly from the tissues, they may lead to redistribution of the toxins into more sensitive organs, such as the brain, if the body can’t cope with elimination. Activated Charcoal may also be added to mop up the toxins. Heavy metal chelation should always only be done slowly and with extreme caution. It should be a marathon, and not a sprint.
I also often recommend two small home treatment machines called IonCleanse and BioMat for detoxification.
However, most importantly, stay away from further exposure, as much as possible. Our skin is our largest organ, with millions of open pores, and anything we put on it gets absorbed into the bloodstream and lymphatic system and distributed all over the body. Unlike foods, toxins absorbed through the skin bypass our stomach acid and natural defense mechanisms.
Shockingly, there is an absolute lack of regulations banning toxins from skin care products, and the cosmetic industry literally has a carte blanche to us whatever they like – and it’s a lot of skin irritants, endocrine disruptors and carcinogens. ‘Dermatologically tested’ is a meaningless statement, products should be tested ‘toxicologically’, in our body.
So the simple rule is: if you can’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin! Once you learn to read ingredients lists on the backside of skin, hair or nails products, etc., instead of just the bold claims mentioned on the front, you will quickly realise that you definitely don’t want all this stuff in your body.
Avoid products with chemical-sounding names within their ingredients, basically anything you can’t pronounce and anything with numbers. Check your toothpaste, deodorant, sunscreen, baby oil, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, moisturising cream, make-up, shaving lotion and avoid all products with chemicals, as these all become toxins in your body, adding to your toxic load. In particular, avoid products with:
parabens (in makeup, shower gels, deodorants, shampoos, facial cleansers),
synthetic colours (hidden mostly behind a combination of FD&C or D&C and numbers),
fragrances (a term created for a mix of multiple chemicals to protect a company’s ‘secret formula’, in perfumes, shower gels, moisturisers, etc.),
phthalates (in nail polish, hair spray, perfumes, lotions), triclosan (in toothpaste, deodorants, antibacterial soaps),
sulfates (like SLS/SLES in almost everything that foams),
formaldehyde (in nail polish, shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, eye shadows),
toluene (in nail polish, hair colour / bleaching products),
propylene glycol (in moisturisers, sunscreen, makeup, shampoos, conditioners, hair sprays),
sunscreen chemicals (avobenzone, benzophenone, PABA, homosalate, etc.) and
paraphenylenediamine (PPD, in hair colours).
The best moisturisers for your skin (body AND face!) are fractionated coconut oil, argan oil, almond oil, rosehip oil or aloe vera gel, mixed with essential oils for fragrance, such as lavender, pine or sweet orange.
The best treatment for your hair is a pure argan oil mask, followed by ‘washing’ with baking soda and ‘rinsing = conditioning’ with apple cider vinegar. If this is too much ‘nature’ for you, look for sulfate-free, paraben-free shampoos and conditioners in health shops.
Stay away from deodorants with aluminium. Wipe your armpits with a hot wet towel throughout the day (you can add essential oils or wash with 100% vegetable soap), or you can use fresh lemon juice, vodka or hydrogen peroxide as all-natural deodorants. With time, after reducing your toxic, pathogenic load, you, however, will realise that you won’t even need these, as your sweat will not smell anymore!
Contrary to what you might have heard from your dentist, fluoride is a toxin and you don’t need it for healthy teeth. Buy or make your own fluoride-free and paraben-free toothpaste, containing only natural ingredients, such as MMS, baking soda, xylitol and peppermint or tea tree oil.
Avoid toxins also at home. If you use non-sticky frying pans, make sure they are not teflon pans with aluminium. Buy a set of ceramic pans, you will love them!
Baking soda and vinegar are great to clean everything in your house and orange oil and hydrogen peroxide are the best stain removers! Stay away from chemical cleaning products containing toxins like formaldehyde, chlorine, petroleum products, ammonia, perchloroethylene, and many other harmful chemicals that research links to cancer, skin conditions, asthma, and other serious health conditions.
Never (ever!) use air fresheners. Open your windows whenever you can! You can also use an ozonator to neutralise bad smells. A few drops of pure essential oil can make everything smell wonderful.
Use only glass/porcelain bottles/food containers and stay away from plastic containers for water and food. Avoid all plastic products as much as possible, especially children’s toys, which should be ideally made of wood.
Drink plenty of pure water to help flush toxins from your body and support your kidneys in elimination. Almost every process in our body depends on proper hydration to function smoothly. Don’t fall for the marketing trap of bottled water, and especially, don’t buy water in plastic bottles. I filter my tap water into glass bottles, and ozonate, mineralise and energise it.
Sleep 7-8 hours every day. Sufficient sleep is, besides a myriad of other benefits, essential for the waste removal system in the brain’s detoxification. Amyloid-beta, for example, proteins that form the plaque found in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients, is removed in significantly higher quantities during sleep.
Use the Earth’s electrons as free antioxidants and walk barefoot on natural grounds. Walking barefoot on grass in a park or sand on the beach, we absorb electrons through the soles of our feet, which then can bind to free radicals and neutralise them. This process is called ‘Earthing‘ or ‘Grounding‘.
Remember to breathe! Our normal, healthy cells function aerobically – they thrive on oxygen. On the contrary, pathogenic bacteria, viruses, fungus and cancer cells cannot survive in an oxygen-rich environment. This is the basis of bio-oxidative therapies, such as Ozone and Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) therapy, as well as MMS (Miracle Mineral Solution).
Make sure to sweat daily. Sweating is one of the best ways to remove harmful toxins, including heavy metals, from the body. This can be achieved by vigorous physical activity (such as high intensity interval training), sauna or hot yoga, and a shower afterwards to make sure that the toxins don’t get reabsorbed. Never EVER use antiperspirants.
Smile and laugh a lot and find the positive in every day. A positive attitude reduces the number of stress chemicals in our body, which can weaken detoxification pathways. Remember: ‘Laughter is the best medicine.’
Limit your alcohol intake and if you’re still smoking… you really, really need to stop! The reason people smoke is, beside the process of inhaling and exhaling deeply, that is by itself addictively satisfying, another addiction – that to nicotine. Many people think that nicotine is the bad ingredient in cigarettes. However, apart from being addictive (as many other things that actually make you feel better, like exercise), nicotine itself is not any worse than caffeine. Both are stimulants and some brains just do better with them, especially as they activate the production of dopamine, our pleasure neurotransmitter. What is really bad in cigarettes are the many other chemicals, such as carbon monoxide, tar, ammonia and arsenic, that you burn and inhale. If you need an alternative to smoking, use electronic cigarettes instead. They use vapor instead of smoke. You get your nicotine, you get the pleasure of deeply inhaling and exhaling and it even feels like smoking – but it’s not. No ash, no stains, no smell! The only thing I would like to warn about are synthetic flavors in e liquids – opt for flavorless liquid or such with natural flavors, for example menthol crystals.
Then there are pharmaceuticals. I don’t want to stray too far on this topic, but remember that what your doctor knows and doesn’t know is heavily influenced by the pharmaceutical industry, which spends more than $20 billion yearly on marketing directly to doctors. Just think about that amount for a moment. Big Pharma is making sure that your doctor does not know about inexpensive cures that are not patentable, and that he or she really thinks that pharmaceuticals are a godsend. And I know, because I have been there; I have been a part of the ‘system’ until I realised that we are all being manipulated for profit, and that synthetic drugs simply don’t work. I was really, truly trying to help, but was simply brainwashed too. Yes, profit is sadly the paradigm for modern medicine, and the money to be made from new, cutting-edge pharmaceuticals, chemotherapy, radiation and surgery is immense. However, ‘high tech’ target-based complex methods are absolutely not synonymous with success. On the contrary, the potential for side effects and the risk of complications is often proportional to their price. Most pharmaceuticals mess up our biochemistry so badly, that, if taken on the long term, they actually cause more harm to our body, than the benefit of easing our symptoms brings. I wish I would have known this before, and could have taken my grandparents off their numerous drugs, helped them heal and live a healthier, longer life. But at least it’s on time for my parents, me and the rest of my family, my friends and patients. And you!
The only way to heal is by eliminating the root causes; and this can be done safely and all-naturally by obeying the basic laws of life and effectively eliminating the toxic pathogenic junk from inside us. Also, don’t let any of your organs be removed, unless it is to save your life in an absolute emergency. All our organs have their purpose. Every disease and infection can be dealt with, sometimes very unconventionally, but all-naturally. Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, who coined the Hippocratic Oath that we all had to take, swearing by a number of healing Gods, to uphold specific ethical standards, said: “Whenever a doctor cannot do good, he must be kept from doing harm.”
He also said: “Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food”. Our food either nourishes and energises, or damages and harms our body.
